- Approach shippers, forwarders CHA and fix appointments with them for business development.
- Explore new business opportunities and generate sales leads effectively.
- Arrange meetings with new and prospective clients and introduce complete range of company’s products and services.
- Exercise responsibility for achievement of monthly sales targets fixed by the management.
- Generate business from existing clients by making routine sales calls/ tele calls.
- Co-ordinate with Customer Service desk, Operations and Documentation department for complete follow-up on shipments generated.
- Analyse market trends and detect effective measures for penetrating business.
- Facilitating prompt preparation submission of quotation/RFQ to customers.
- Submitting sales/division reports to reporting head at regular intervals.
- Facilitate timely follow-up on collections from customers.
- Conduct regular review meetings with the team and enhance performance.
- Endeavour for any other relevant duty or responsibility that may be assigned from time to time.
